Call or send photos. Joe comes out, walks the land with you, listens to what you're trying to do, and gives you a firm written estimate — free.
Our crew shows up with the mulcher, excavator, skid steer and truck. Trees you want kept are flagged and protected. Logs and debris go where you decided.
Graded, drained and ready for your builder, your fence, your pasture or your view. We don't leave until it looks like the plan.

Ultimate Forestry is run by Joe Balzano out of Harris, NY. When you hire us, you're dealing with the person who quotes the work, runs the machine and answers for the result.
Tell us the goal and we'll recommend the least expensive way to get there — sometimes that's a day of mulching, sometimes it's a full clear and grade.
We're headquartered on Big Woods Road in Harris, NY, minutes from Monticello and Liberty. We regularly work throughout Sullivan County and into neighboring Orange and Ulster Counties — if you're in the Catskills or the upper Delaware, call us.
Joe and his crew did a great job! Everything that we discussed was done and the budget was very reasonable. They removed several trees near the power lines without a hitch.
Highly experienced and extremely professional. Got the job done quickly and efficiently, worked with our budget, and was careful with the equipment around our property.
Joe did an awesome job! I would highly recommend him.
Light brush and saplings can be a fraction of the cost of clearing mature timber with stumps. Access, terrain and what you want done with the wood all matter. That's why we give firm written estimates after walking the property — call for a free on-site quote.
Forestry mulching grinds brush and small trees into mulch in place — fast, clean, no hauling, but stumps stay in the ground. Full land clearing removes trees, stumps and debris and grades the site so it's buildable. We do both and will recommend the right one for your goal.
Not always, but work near streams, wetlands, steep slopes or within certain town zones can require NYS DEC or local approval. We'll identify anything that needs a permit before work begins.
Absolutely. Selective clearing — keeping mature shade trees, a privacy screen along the road, or the sugar maples — is something we do every week. Walk the property with us and flag what stays.
Your choice: hauled away, chipped into mulch on site, stacked as firewood, or sold as timber when it has value.
Smaller jobs can often be scheduled within a couple of weeks; larger clearing and excavation projects are booked further out, especially spring through fall. Call early and we'll get you on the calendar.
Yes. Ultimate Forestry LLC is fully insured, BBB A+ rated, and we'll provide a certificate of insurance on request.
Send a few details and a couple of photos. We'll call you back, walk the land with you, and give you a firm written price — no pressure, no surprises.
Prefer to talk it through first? Call and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a mulching job, a clearing job, or something you don't need us for at all.
